Interesting....

So yester day I had and interesting day. It started out with my just kind of bumming around the house because i had no transportation to get to one of the places that i could have worked for the day. and the weather was slightly overcast for most of the day so I get a call from my mother saying that the guy I was doing some yard for would let me drive to his work place in his truck that was stitting at his house so hopped on my bike that gets excellent mileage, miles per meal i dunno lol so i drove over there and started to work and then the weather system that was coming my way was not looking very friendly with the dark and dreay clouds looming in the not so distant sky I worked on power raking the section of the yard a little more, but doing so in vain the storm clouds were much closer than anticipated and fell upon with with snow and rain relentlessly for 15 minutes i had to alteast get to the side of the building and once i got done i went inside only to find my whole back was soaking wet along with my dirty pants. since my mother works there during the busier times of the year she was there and i talked with her for a little bit then looked out side and there was some small traces of blue sky in the distance.... i was a little miffed seeing as hour i just spent 15-20 min slaving away in the rain and had to get warmed up and then head home because i was soaked but had I gotten there 20 minutes after i did and then start working i would have been fine. so i go home and waiting for a car to get home so i can run to the Wal-mart in smelterville just a 7-10 min drive from home about 7 miles from my house i go there get some things for my mother's birthday and on the way home something happens to the front rigth tire as such that is became flat and no longer driveable on and i had to pull off about 1/2 a mile from the freeway exit to Pinehurst. so i call my dad to have him to come help me because i had a spare tire and a jack but for some reason the thing used to pump up the jack was not it the car so he came with a spare tire and a 4 pronged jack wrench thingy which enabled me to pump up the jack but because it was a 4 pronged one and there was a flat tire it took almost 10-15 minutes just to get the tire up and it had already taken like 25-30 min jsut waiting for my dad to arrive.....probably because he had to dig around and ended up taking the jack thing from out camping trailer. but needless to say i have the car jacked up and i have been there on the side of the road for 45 min and my house is just 4 mine drive away. Have had much experinece in rotating tires the tire was off and the new one on and tightened in under 2 mintues all within the twlight hours of darkness and the with a fullly pumped up tire it was much faster going down than up. so i ended up taking an hour and half for a routinely 20 minute errand. lol it was all good just applied what Elder Worthlin said "Come what may and love it" and it was more enjoyable than it was stressful. =D and onlt 37 more days until May 20th!!!!! =D not that i am counting down the days.....lol

Flashing Before Mine Eyes

SO...... I am driving to go pick up the elders because they need a ride to church and because the president ask that the cover both my ward and the Wallace branch every week. So I head out pick them up and the roads are crazy slushy and not very good at all (this is from a guy who laughs at city folk in the snow. And plays in the snow so it was bad) and the off ramp to Pinehurst there was an Idaho State patrol car flashing its lights and some cars that ate it on the off-ramp and just driving to pick them up I couldn't get into the passing lane with out the car being thrown around like crazy and I ended up being stuck behind some car pulling a U-haul trailer. So I it took me awhile to get to their apt. But I picked them up and dropped one off at the branch building then headed home to my building and the roads coming back weren't that great either so as I approached the off-ramp I shifted down gears and began to slow down unsure as to the condition of the off-ramp. Then because of a lack of constant friction which is also known as traction between the sweetest red car ever and the icy road the car began to slide cutting through the V shape of the off ramp line and the lines of the freeway. I was already sliding and pumping the brakes would have been a futile effort.
I was headed strait towards a set of reflector posts and then a deep V median like thing of untold death. Normally one wouldn't stay calm once one comes to the realization that you may get crunched in the next 5 seconds I steered the car the best I could to avoid striking the both reflector posts then I felt I dunno if out of instinct or the spirit to pull the E-brake and slide sideways I did so and the car slowed down but began to slide sideways drivers side first towards the posts. OH NO this car is going to be in the shop again and the member who owns said shop told us he didn't really want to see that car in there. We slid closer to this menacing post which seemed like it would inevitably be the cause for much grief and a likely source that could cause the car to flip into the deep ditch. We slid and I held on to the steering wheel staring at the post calming hoping for the best as the Elder that was with me stayed calm and didn't speak. As I slid with in 5 feet of the post I closed my eyes hoping for the best then the car started to slow down.. I opened them and stared as we were still sliding I stared at the post knowing it was going to be the source of great anguish then It came within a foot of me.... I came with in 2 inches of the post it was right out my window an inch from the window almost hugging the car. Time had frozen and I was no longer sliding.... I WAS ALIVE and the car was intact. No scratches at all. Nothing just a pile of snow and dirt that helped slow me down more that it would have had I been going straight on I looked and the elder we both kinda laughed flipped on the emergency blinkers and did something illegal I backed up on a freeway a little. Then slowly drove down the off-ramp that I barely missed.

uh....

i dunno
